Work: Since August 2016, I have been working as an economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to that, I have worked as financial analyst at Novin Investment Bank , and as a graduate student and researcher at Florida International University.
Education: I finished my PhD in economics at Florida International University in 2016. In my dissertation I developed a framework to use nighttime light [ictures to estimate bilateral commodity trade at subnational level.
